It is in the key of B minor but the second part moves to D major thus giving it an interesting internal harmonic structure. The second part cadences on B minor though. This tune is also played in A minor/C major so it might be worth practicing the tune down one tone. The Musical Priest with substitutions There are two new chords in this version. The first is a variation of the G modal 1 chord shape. By moving the index finger to the second fret on the high E string I have now added an F# to the chord thus making it a major 7 chord. (It is worth noting that this means that the G chord now has all of the notes of the B minor chord - B, D, F# - plus the G). There is a Bb minor passing chord in the second part, which gives a nice color effect. This also helps to give each part a different flavour.
